The Designer Tablescape event at CHA (the Craft and Hobby Association) was a huge success. Everyone kept telling me it was the "buzz" of the show! Designer members of CHA worked in teams to create "over the top" tablescapes based on themes they chose from a list of holidays and special events. The idea was to show that traditional craft techniques can be used to create upscale tabletop decor to add a personal touch to your party or special event. The original designs were available for publication or licensing and to inspire store owners to show customers new ways to use craft products.
As the Design Coordinator for the event, I was very pleased and impressed with the final display and enjoyed working with all the Designers, Manufacturers and CHA staff. The final result was all that I imagined it could be and more! Thanks so much to the participating designers and sponsoring manufacturers.
