Another tablescape from the
Chicago Flower & Garden Show. Okay, so I've never seen this play. While looking at the display I felt the subdued colors, femininity and a little darkness. I was compelled to look up information on the play at
Sparknotes and I now see that the exhibit really nailed the feeling of the play.
The play was set in the 40's and these elements tell a complex story, just like the play.
I do like the satin tablecloth, reminiscent of a woman's dress and the faded pink roses.
